Festival of World Culture

25 August, 2008

Went with my housemate Flo to the Festival of World Culture in Dún Laoghaire. On Saturday night we found an African drum group playing outside and an Irish duo in the pub. Much dancing and drinking ensued and I nominate the bodhrán as the Coolest Thing In The Universe for that day. On Sunday we went to the food stands (mmm falafel, mmm crepes) and the ethnic produce stands.

I bought herbs to go on the windowsil: organo, parsley and chives. Just basil and coriander to go.

I also met Heather, who will be returning to the house next month. We are plotting to grow some veg in the garden. Not sure how Prudence will feel about this.
