Infinite cake!

8 December, 2008

Thought for the day: when life gives you lemons, make Lemon Slices. When life runs out of lemons, you can substitute oranges instead.

Scientific observation of the day: the more cake there is, the faster people eat it. When there is only one piece of cake left, everyone is too polite to eat it, but someone will carefully cut it in two and eat one piece, and so on. My housemates have thus demonstrated cake half-life :S

  1. I imagine the speed of decay is much quicker in nicer (or more popular) cake flavours.
Also presence of outside influcence, proximity of catalyst (people / prudence) to cake, the ritual shouting of “free cake” etc.
Also over time it would stablise as the staleness facter increases….

    More graphs? 😉

  2. Mmm graphs…
