Who needs runways?

There are various ways to travel from Vancouver to Victoria, but the seaplane gets the most view-for-your-money recommendations.

Inside the tiny cabin, it’s cramped and noisy. But that doesn’t really matter:

Takeoff and landing are surprisingly smooth. I can’t help feeling that seaplanes should fold their wings behind them after they land, like the seagulls.
